Any single family home, condo or apartment in the United States can be evaluated. All you need is the history of all energy consumed in the home for a continuous 12 month period and a few simple home characteristics. The energy information can usually be obtained from your latest utility bills, which often show your usage for the prior 12 months. Home characteristic information should be readily available with the exception of building area, which may require you to measure your home.
Once you have the data needed, rating a home takes only minutes.
